Emmy Awards 2020: Top Women’s Fashion
Ceremony for Emmy Awards 2020 alias 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards, was held at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA, on September 20, 2020 (local time). It was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
The ceremony was mainly virtual due the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. As such, majority of award recipients delivered their acceptance speeches virtually from their homes, while the few who attended the ceremony in-person had to strictly adhered to California’s coronavirus restrictions.
Given the above circumstances, the event’s red carpet was also mainly virtual, with most celebrities and particularly female celebrities displaying their preferred or endorsed latest fashion styles from the indoors and gardens of their homes and other settings in distant places, via video links and pre-recorded videos.
Female celebrities who contributed to the event’s red carpet virtually or in-person include: Rain Valdez, Tracee Ellis Ross, Regina King, Annie Murphy, Cynthia Erivo, Robin Thede, Jennifer Aniston, Laverne Cox, Shira Haas, Yara Shahidi, and Zendaya, among others.
